Instructions for Speakers and Oral Presenters

Deadline completing pre-recording session: 15 September 2020

Presenters will receive an email with information on how to book a recording slot and how to record their lecture by 10 August.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURE
In compliance with EACCME requirements all speakers and oral presenters have been requested to complete a Conflict of interest form during the abstract submission process. Please ensure that the first slide in your presentation is the Conflict of Interest disclosure slide. Click HERE for template slide.

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR PRESENTATION
Your presentation should be prepared in .PPT or .PPTX format.

We kindly request that you include the WMS 2020 Congress template title slide with your name and title of your lecture at the start of your presentation, followed by the conflict of interest disclosure slide. Click HERE to download the title slide template.

PREPARING FOR A LIVE Q&A SESSION

In order to prepare for your LIVE Q&A session, you will be asked to prepare a pre-recorded presentation and to join a rehearsal session closer to the Congress dates.
Please read the step-by-step instructions on preparing the pre-recording and booking the rehearsal session you received by e-mail.
Here is a short video on how to prepare for your session.

• Speakers and Moderators will receive a link to enter the live Q&A section from a few days before the planned session.
• Please be ready to enter the live Q&A 20 minutes in advance of the official start of the Q&A in order for your internet speed and other technical issues to be checked and resolved by a technician.
• You may check your internet speed by performing an Internet speed test online: https://www.speedtest.net/. Your upload speed should ideally be equal to or higher than 8Mbps in order to avoid slow-speed issues.
• There will be a technician in the virtual room with you to assist you and to guide you if you have any queries.
• Moderators – for the live section of the session, we kindly request that you ensure to end the Q&A on time. Please note that if the session runs over time unfortunately, we will need to stop the session.
• Participants will be able to ask questions to the speakers via the chat option whilst they view the lectures. These will be written questions only. The moderator’s role will be to decide which questions will be discussed.
