Transport and Travel

You can travel to Mendoza by plane, car or bus.

Plane: When you arrive in Argentina. You will most likely fly into “Ezeiza - Ministro Pistarini International Airport”. You can then fly directly to Mendoza from there or transfer to the national airport “Aeroparque Jorge Newery”. You can take an Uber, taxi or there are shuttles which is the cheapest option. Tienda Leon is the company, and you can buy the ticket directly from their desk in the arrivals area at the airport. On arrival in Mendoza ‘Francisco Gabrielli’ International Airport is located 20 minutes from the Capital City.
There are also many flights between Santiago de Chile airport (Aeropuerto Internacional Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez) to Mendoza – Argentina.

Bus: Through the international bus terminal ‘Terminal del Sol’. The main lines coming from Capital Federal (Argentina) and Santiago de Chile.

Car: Located 1.080 Km. from Buenos Aires, the journey time by car is around 11 hours. You can also access by car from any other point of Argentino or Santiago, Chile (360 Km. Away).

City Transport: Public transport runs from 06:00-01:00. The journey, either bus, trolley or metrovia, is paid through a machine located inside each vehicle, which only receives coins and doesn’t give change back. Another form of payment is by Redbus card, which is purchased in kiosks and shops offering this service. (You can ask for further information in the bus station or transporte.mendoza.gov.ar/carga-redbus.php

Taxis: Taxis are always metered. The fare depends on where you’re going, but a short ride will cost about 70 Pesos while a longer one could cost about 200 Pesos. Taxis are generally safe, but if you’re staying in a hotel, you can ask the concierge to call one for you.
