Banks
Banks are open from Monday to Friday from 10:00-13:00. However, you can make cash withdrawals and other transactions at ATMs, which operate 24 hours.

Voltage
The electrical supply in Argentina is 220 volts, 50 Hz.

Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended to clear all travel and medical insurance issues prior to coming to Mendoza. Neither the Congress Secretariat nor the Organising Committee will take any responsibility for any participant of the Congress failing to insure.

Visa
USA, EU, British, Mexican and MERCOSUR citizens can visit Argentina without a visa for up to 90 days. A valid passport will be required.

Argentine law requires delegates from Australia and Canada to pay a reciprocity fee before traveling in addition to having a valid passport. A visa is not required. Travellers must show proof of payment on arrival. The current reciprocity fee is $100-$160 USD depending on country of origin. Fee cannot be paid as part of congress registration.

Press and Embargo Policy
WMS prefer companies not to do any press releases on site at the congress. No press passes are available. The embargo date is the presentation day, e.g. for a late breaking abstract this the last day of the congress. For general presentations that would be the beginning of the scientific programme for the congress (local time).
