Public Transport

The public transport companies of Berlin are called BVG and S-Bahn GmbH. They will take you quickly everywhere you need to go by underground, bus, train or ferry. Berlin is divided into three tariff zones: AB, BC und ABC. Tariff zone AB includes the urban area until the city boundary. Zone ABC involves also Berlin's surrounding area and the city of Potsdam. Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended to clear all travel and medical insurance issues prior to coming to Berlin. Neither the Congress Secretariat nor the Organising Committee will take any responsibility for any participant of the Congress failing to insure.

Visa

International delegates arriving from outside the European Union may need a visa. Please make sure that you ask for a visa permit in time. If you need an invitation letter please contact the Congress Secretariat.
