Travel Information

You can travel to Saint-Malo itself by high-speed train, plane, ferry or car. Please see the summary of options here .

Car: Located 370km from Paris, the journey time by car to Saint-Malo is around 3 ½ hours. There are 1600 parking spaces near the Grand Large. There is an underground car park under the Tourist Office : Parking St Vincent. You can book here for the week. Click here for more info

Rail: There is a high speed rail link from Paris Montparnasse to Saint-Malo which takes just under 3 hours. Alternatively, there are high speed trains from Lille, Roissy, Lyon, Marseille, Strasbourg and Brest into Rennes, which has regular connections to St Malo.

Plane: Rennes Saint-Jacques airport is a 45 minute taxi journey from Saint Malo (approximately EUR150-180 by taxi) or a 45 minute train journey from the Centre of Rennes (approximately EUR10 train fare) and has 80 regular connections with major French and European cities. Dinard/Pleurtuit/Saint-Malo airport is 15 minutes from Saint-Malo and has daily flights from London and Nottingham in the UK. In October there is a flight each day of the week from London Stansted to Dinard Airport.
Due to increased security and border checks, please allow plenty of time for your connection with trains and taxis etc. Please also remember that the airports are quite small so you may have to wait for a taxi particularly in the evenings.

Ferry: There are daily ferry services from Portsmouth (UK) directly into Saint-Malo.

Bus: Once you have arrived in Saint Malo, you can use the bus service to get to the congress venue. Please see the maps below for more information about the routes from near to the train station. The congress venue is close to Intra-Muros on the map.
